D.O.A. Policy?

D.O.A. Policy:

All of our coral come with a Live Arrival Guarantee. For this guarantee to be valid you must submit a clear, quality digital photo of the D.O.A. within ONE hour of electronic delivery notification.  Photo must be taken while the coral is still in sealed bag/container. D.O.A. means dead on arrival therefore it will be dead in the bag/container when it arrived. If this process is not followed the guarantee will be void. There are absolutely no refunds for D.O.A. coral, no exceptions. We will not cover any D.O.A.'s due to shipping delays caused by carrier/shipping company including weather delays. Any D.O.A. coral will be credited toward your next order which must take place with 30 days of receiving the D.O.A.  Credit will be for coral only – no credit for shipping. We will not be responsible for frags that detach from plugs or rock.

Once the coral is in your tank,  guarantee is void - no exceptions.  We cannot stress enough the importance of sending a CLEAR photo w/in ONE hour of delivery if you believe a coral has arrived DOA.

Shipping is very stressful on coral as they are living organisms.  Corals, when stressed,  can release a slime that is their natural defense.  This does not indicate a coral is dead, rather it is using it’s natural form of protection for survival.  Palythoa are known for releasing slime, again, this does not mean it is DOA.  Take care to acclimate all coral properly using drip method.  Most corals, once properly acclimated, will open up within a few hours/days.
